Rice

  • Rice full-length cDNA clones

The Rice Full-length cDNA Project (a collaboration of BRAIN, NIAS, FAIS and RIKEN) has generated a total of about 30,000 cDNA clones. Detailed information for each clone is available through the KOME(Knowledge-based Oryza Molecular biological Encyclopedia) database. The full-length cDNA clones are distributed as lyophilized plasmid DNA. The following plasmid vectors were used in construction of the clones: pME18SFFL-3 (clone ID 001~, clone ID 006~), pCMV-SPORT 6 (clone ID 002~) and Lambda-FLC (clone ID J0~, clone ID J1~).

  • Nipponbare rice PAC/BAC clones
Clone List
Only RGP PAC Clones(Initial P) and RGP BAC Clones (Initial B) are available.    Availability of sequenced PAC/BAC clones
  • Kasalath rice BAC clones
Clone List(Excel)
The list contains 2,752 minimum-tiling-path BAC clones of ‘Kasalath’ rice variety (aus-type) with their chromosomal locations on the basis of results obtained from in silico mapping of BAC-end sequences and/or DNA marker confirmation (Kanamori et al., 2013. The Plant Journal 76: 699-708,).

Barley

  • Barley cDNA clones
Clone List(Excel)
The list contains 23,614 full-length cDNA clones from the Japanese malting barley variety Haruna Nijo (Matsumoto et al., 2011. Plant Physiol. 156: 20-28). More information, including the expression profiles and physical locations on barley chromosomes (genomic sequences assembled by the International Barley Genome Sequencing Consortium, 2012. Nature 491: 711-716), can be obtained by accessing to our Barley Gene Expression Database (bex-db) (Tanaka et al., 2013. Breeding Science 63: 430-434).Clones are distributed as plasmid DNAs. Vector is pFLCIII. DNA was extracted by 40 microL 10mM Tris (pH 8.6) and dried by evaporation. Dissolve with H2O before transformation.

Pig

  • Pig Full-length cDNA
Clone List(Excel)(PDF)
Full-length cDNA sequence of 10,147 representative clones from cDNA libraries constructed from porcine tissues (three-way crossbred, Landrace and Berkshire). All available clones can be searched from the Pig Expression Data Explorer (PEDE) or various search tools in DDBJ/EMBL/GenBank.
